A German walks into a bar and asks for a martini. The bartender asks, "Dry?"
The German replies, "Nein, just one."
Okay, silly jokes out of the way. Hello everyone!
I've been binge watching Disney Medley songs on Youtube by creative songbirds such as Evynne Hollens and Georgia Merry. Awww~
I only have a few quick updates as I'm trying to hurry and finish a Rey from the Force Awakens cosplay. I'll be attending the Carnegie/Beeding May the 4th (Be with you) Wedding Celebration at Powell Gardens. I've been busy for months organizing things for my trip to Europe in May and things keep unfortunately getting set on the back burner. I'll be working on that today .
I also received my transparent worbla in the mail. It's the first time I've ordered it, it feels completely different than regular worbla and costs a little more. I mean, a few expletives flew out of my mouth when I removed it from the packaging. It's really small square footage for $40. Yikes! The life of a cosplayer.
I keep ignoring the site here, sorry, it's been really hard to edit it lately --that's probably because I'm trying to show everyone what I'm good at....drawing, painting, writing, etc...on top of cosplaying and it's too much. I'm separating all that good stuff to another website and just trying to leave this to just cosplay. I'm using a new layout for the site and I'm not sure exactly how I feel about it yet.
I was inactive with cosplaying for about 6 1/2 months thanks to gaining too much weight to fit into costumes and moving and selling my old (wonderful) townhouse. Adjusting to driving twice as much to work has me exhausted in the evenings and it's put a damper on cosplaying but, I did break that inactive streak by making a fanart recreation of Rey from the Force Awakens by artist The Real McGee. I tagged the artist many times online and my friend sent her a message of the cosplay and she replied back! I was so happy about that.
The next ideas, will happen after my oral surgery...blah, yeah i'm getting oral surgery done but, after it's all done I'll be free from the 4 year prison of my braces (going on year 5). I'm trying not to reveal cosplay costumes anymore before they are done as I've found it breaks down my momentum to work on them. People tend to respond better when I sorta surprise them with it, too. So i'll be doing that from now on.
