May the stars shine on you all this evening,
It has been over a week since my last update! I'm officially moved into my new townhome (which I now refer to as my little castle, it sure feels like it with all the space!) and I can say it's been a supremely satisfying achievement. I took off work today as I've felt worn from the move and from some news the previous night. I rested most of the day, I can't wait to get my queen bed as the light in my windows fills me with a joy I've forgotten by living in closed off apartments. I am in need of shelving for my sewing room otherwise I've cleared up enough space to work in there. I have begun cutting out pieces for my Akasha-themed vampire masquerade gown. It is rewarding to leave my project in the room with no worries, in the past I've had to dance around projects in living room spaces which was never fun. The even better part, I have enough room to place a bed and nightstand in there for guests as well.
My update will be regrettably short as I am without internet for my desktop and typing on my tiny phone keyboard can be challenging. I have spent my evening in quiet reflection. I prepared myself a meal, gave thanks, lit a candle and placed harpsichord music by Domenico Scarlatti on. Whenever I am going through a bit of troubled moods I find that time best to think of writing or to physically write. I hope to have my writing set up in binders now that I have the room for more bookshelves.
I'd like to close with a gift my sister has brought me from the ocean. A sea star, how ironic. <3
